Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your MalluChat account and its associated data at any time, directly from within the App. Account deletion is done in-app — there is no separate web form.

How to Delete Your Account

In short: Profile → Settings → Delete Account.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize the following data associated with it:

• Account information: your email address, login credentials, and linked Google account association
• Profile information: display name, username, profile photo, and bio
• User content: your posts, comments, photos, and videos
• Messages: your chat conversations and matches
• Activity data: saved posts, likes, and usage history
• Push notification token registered for your device

Data Retention

• Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, your data cannot be recovered.
• Your personal information is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after your request, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate purposes such as fraud prevention and dispute resolution (see our Privacy Policy).
• Content you shared with other users (such as messages they received) may remain visible to them in anonymized form.
• Locally cached data on your device can be removed by clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App.

Can't Access the App?

If you no longer have access to the App or your device and cannot delete your account in-app, email us from the address associated with your account and we will process the deletion for you:

We may need to verify your identity before completing the request. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.
